This simple 5hour workshop is designed aimed at giving you a head start on jour personal journey to self-Awareness, learning how to meditate effectively and understand the basic fundamentals of living a spiritual life… I feel Meditation, Holistic Living and Spirituality should be open to anyone from all walks of life and people from any cultural or religious background. I offer this Introduction workshop once a month and it’s open to all members of the public – This Workshop also offers:

Practical knowledge to deal with the daily challenges of life Interactive exercises Relaxation exercises Meditation and powerful breathing techniques I believe that all spiritual journeys and your everyday should start with MEDITATION :

A mind that is in the present moment is meditation. A mind that is calm, without hesitation and anticipation is meditation. Meditation offers innumerable benefits. The rest you gain in meditation is deeper than the deepest sleep. The deeper your rest, the more dynamic your activity is. An inward journey with Meditation To experience meditation, you do not need to go to a remote cave in the Himalayas. Meditation is diving deep within at this moment. Bring the mind, which is all over the place, back to its source. In meditation – your mind is alert, and all other organs are in deep rest.

Repose in the cool, calm, serene depth of your Being. Letting go and Meditation Do you think that meditation is deep concentration? Then you’re in for a surprise:

The good news is that, you need not do anything – meditation is not an action, it is an art of letting go without any effort. Meditation happens with effortlessness.

There are numerous meditation techniques that exist in the world, I am offering a once a month workshop which teaches one how to meditate with complete ease, in just 20 minutes. Once learnt, it can be used anywhere, while sitting at home or travelling on train or airplane or somewhere on a bench during your lunch hour… The degree to which stress unduly influences our lives is generally underestimated, often the mind clings on to anger, guilt or regret about the past, or is plagued by anxiety and worry about the future.

This oscillation of the mind between the past and the future causes tension and stress for us and for the people around us and leads to reduced effectiveness in action. Breath is the link between body and mind and thus is the key to handling our mind and negative emotions to release our true potential at work, at home and at leisure.

Please note this workshop is offered in BOTH Afrikaans and English.

Cost: R 180 p/person attending (You can repeat for free anytime in the future) To Bring: Blanket or Yoga- matt , Cushion , Plate of Vegetarian snacks for sharing (Tea provided)
